Use the search bar at the top of the page to select a location where you want to start your route. Type in any city, town or address. You can also check the location icon in the search bar to use your current location or move the location pin to a spot on the map to select this as a starting point.

Finally, click on ‘Find routes’ to find routes from this location.

The mobile eRoutes app always tries to generate 3 routes via the given GPS signal. However, it is possible that there are no 3 routes available at your location for the distance you have chosen. The system that eRoutes uses to generate routes only releases routes that lead you along walking-friendly roads and paths. Pick a different location for more routes. By dragging the location pin just a few meters further you sometimes get new routes.

Click in the left column on the colour of the route you want to take a closer look at. Another left-hand column will now appear with more details about this route, including step-by-step directions, elevation profile and options to save this route.

For all routes, you will find an elevation profile of the route in the detail panel. Click on the ‘Elevation profile’ to unfold the graph, if it is not yet visible.

It shows how many altimeters the route has during the route so that you can see at a glance whether it is a flat or a hilly route.

Click on the ‘Save’ button in the detail panel of your chosen route to save this route under ‘My routes’.

You can then choose to download this route as a print version or as a file suitable for your GPS device or sports watch.

If you want to print a route, select the ‘Print version’ in the route detail panel. A PDF file will then be prepared for you to save on your computer. You can then print this file.

After creating a free account, you can save 3 routes in your account for free. These can either be printed or downloaded as a file for your GPS device or sports watch.

If you want to save more routes you can buy a single route or become a premium member and download as many routes as you want (monthly or yearly).

PDF – Choose ‘print version’ to download the route as a PDF file.

GPX – General file, commonly used in GPS devices and software.

TCX – For Garmin Edge / Forerunner

Yes, of course, download the route and then share it with someone else via email, WhatsApp or print the route to share it on paper.

Unfortunately, at the moment it is not possible to open a route that you have created in the route planner in the eRoutes App. But this will be a feature we’re adding in the future. Working hard on it!

We would like to hear if a route was not correct and if paths were not accessible.

Please use our contact form to describe in as much detail as possible what was wrong with your route. Also, try to mention street names and intersections. This way we can trace the error more quickly.

Click on the ‘Save’ button in the detail panel of your chosen route to save this route under ‘My routes’.

You can also give your route its own name.

You can then choose to download this route as a print version or as a file suitable for your GPS device or sports watch.

Your saved routes can be found in your profile under ‘My routes’.
